Has been a while ..
This week Redwan is finally starting school
maybe after that i will be able to blog about other things
....

Finally , Redwan is going to go into daycare .. There is a place for him in a "MKD" which is a center for kids who have "mental problems" without being retarded ..
I will miss having him around , but also apriciate the fact we will finally get some time for ourselves ..

Yesterday i was (again )confronted with the strange universe Redwan lives in . Biking to the center for Autism we had to cross several roads .. Waiting at traffic lights was only o.k. when there was a switch pole there ( have no idea of the English name ) where the biker can request green light ..
If we where at one of the points where one just has to wait for green Redwan got very angry ..

For the last months I've been visiting the center for Autism with Redwan .. Things are definitely getting better , he is more responsive and yesterday, Alhamdulillah he asked his first question , even intoning it questioning . It was "Fietse?? " which means "biking ?? "
He asked it while we came back from the park and to his great amazement Hassnaa was riding her scoot mobile beside us ...

It is so great to see this development ... as great as it is painful to realize how much he has gotten behind ...

It is hard not to get sucked into self pity and such 

Testing is not the easiest thing to do ...

But just like wirling , one falls less and less often
